i was gonna buy 10w 30 mobil 1 fully synthetic motor oil but i saw that there is one thats regular and another that saids high mileage 75000 or more what should i go with since my motor has more then that i appreciate yalls help

i use the regular synthetic 10w30. some sales people tried to sell me heavier weight oils cuz they said "my mileage", but i just dont mind them.

so i should just go with the regular one

as proven.... mobile 1 is the best synthetic oil for our cars. If you have prone to leaks, especialy the tube wells and oil pan, the high mileage is a good suite.

depending on where you live:
5w30 is better for temperatures between freezing and 92 degree's ferinheit.
10w30 is better between 52 and 132 degree's ferinheit

mind you these are startup facts, and they are testing the theory of head damage as thicker oil at a lower temp takes longer to get to the head.|
where I live I run 5w30 between september and june, only the summer months do i use 10w30

i have 80k on my engine and i run 10-30 mobile one full synthetic

i have 175xxx i use castrol gtx high mileage, really helps with the burning oil

i use good ol' conventional. Why spend all that money on a motor that burns most of it.

I use mobil 0-30 Syn. Its only $20 for 5 qt jug. and my car has over 190K miles

the previous owner used nothing but castrol gtx and the engine is still going strong with 202k miles. when i did the lower oil pan gasket last year, there was no sludge in the bottom and it looked pretty damn clean in the bottom end. after seeing that, its hard not to just keep using it. plus the 5 qt jugs are only like $14 at walmart, so thats nice too.

^^ you know the celi only takes 4 quarts right? just saying

my celi only takes 4 quarts lol isnt yours the same?

so every 4th oil change he gets a free oil change, i'm sure he knows how to pour in 4 of 5 quarts.

also whats a good engine cleaner for the internals

use that thing wisely though.

you know the saying, "Rust is what's keeping the car together" you dont wanna uncover bad things when you clean the motor.
