I did a very silly thing last night, i've just bought a 3sgte with loom and ecu off tardme. to stonk into my st171 liftback corona, i know i will need to upgrade brakes etc, but at this stage i just want to get the thing running sweet.

soo ahh 260hp here we go, got sick of the 3sfe, too damn slow even with gen 2 celica headers and full intake, just gotta wait for it to get here and ahhh figure out how to wire the bastard.mikey reckons he can do it but if anybody in auckland would be able to help, that would be awesome, boxes of beer of offer etc, especially need help splicing the looms.

Cheers guys.

Also if anybody has a gt4 or caldina gtt fuel pump kicking round they want to sell let me know

It's a manual s53 box.... but the syncro mesh is starting to go i'm going to grab a v6 camry box or a celica gtr box from local wreckers they are only like 120 bucks....

got to get a new clutch as well...

was 4th gen a good one to buy? i didn't really want one from an old like 89 celica or something, im told this motor puts out roughly 260hp.

lol hey man i'm trying, i'm really into my motorbikes can fix those no sweat... but the amount of wiring in a car... i havn't dealt with wiring on that scale before and i thought it wise to get advice from those in the know if possible rather than going at it like a bull at a gate.

sounds like it will be difficult but doable, celicatech people are swapping more caldinas these days, they might have diagrams.

celica tech? that another forum i assume?

yeah i'm trying to find the wiring diagrams for both cars... once i have those i am sorted, a wiring loom for my corona is only 10 bucks at the wreckers so with diagrams i can splice both before hand so the car isn't off the road too long, it's my daily driver etc...

cheers: Mark.

comes out of a V6 Camry, V6 Solara, or 3s-gte MR2, my suggestion is a 93+ MR E153, or a 97+ v6 camry E153 (they both have LSD)

no lsd is not a drug...

the S54 is okay if u stick to stock on the 3s-gte, but if u plan to up the power via anything other than a boost controller on stock turbo, ull ned the E153
