cool thread! what is the problem with the mounting of the brake line to the BC coil-over (i'm after a set my self)? is it the fact it doesn't meet the bracket on the line? can't it be solved by bending the bracket on the strut to the right position?

Looks to me like the bracket for the line is too big, therefore the line can't be secured properly.

DAMN!@ Love the taste.

Wouldn't it be feasible to put on a rubber gromet and slide it into the bracket adding tension to secure the brake line?

Woke up late today (midday) so i only got to do my fronts. Felt for a change was bored of the rims. Put on the 7gens, and they make the car look really smart. Also dropped the fronts another inch and a bit. Ill let the pics speak for themselves, they are cutting it close to the driveway. And ill answer those questions above me when i get back from work.

As of now.

Its because the line between the brake and the mount is too short to attach to the mount. Probably just missing 1cm to secure it on. I could bend the mount but i really dont want to. Going to buy a stud and extend the mount so i can mount the brake on it. Hard to explain but ill get round to it.

My other rims, g-forces are going to undergo come changes. Thinking what colour and other small details. But im very happy with how the car is now. The 7gen rims suit it great, ride height is low smile.gif, comfort is harsh and i love it and handling is great, jus need a wheel alignment before i go hammer some twisties.

What do you mean rusty? What kind of work?

Always wanted to do a shot like this, as some of you might remember my fail shot 6 months ago with my phone.

Edit: I love these two shots so here they are again!

there was a law here for a while that you had to get it engineered if it were lowered at all but I haven't heard much about it I think they may have stopped it and just stayed with the old law which is 10cm from the ground all around the car.

Any reason for choosing the 7th gen alloys over the mag wheels?

The mags could be white though....

I'm also thinking that OEM sideskirts would flow nicer with your SS-III splitters too smile.gif

So it seems your exterior is just about ready for show, When does the HP mods come in? biggrin.gif

Or is it something about your P license that you're not allowed to have power? Hehe

Yeh p plates law doesnt allow me to have turbo, this all changes in june.
But that doesnt mean a turbo is getting dropped in anytime soon.

I could say, "Use the search function Tiga!". But a reason why i made a progress thread, so all my mods were in one place. The tyre paint is back on page 4 or so.
