Ok.... nothing on 6gc will load on AOL. Comes up as an error, can't find site.

Only way I can get into the forums is through topic subscription notifications.

Anyone else have this prob?

It won't even work if you're going to the forums? Also, have you always had this problem?

Wrong forum by the way. wink.gif

Ok, I think you're having the same problem that many other members are having with the site's login system. As soon as I can find some time, I'll take a look at everything and probably re-write some portions of the site in order to fix the problems.

Do you happen to have Comcast high-speed cable? I've had a problem loading it, because there is a virus going around on the Comcast network that infects Linksys routers that doesn't allow you to access some webpages seemingly at random. I switched back to an old Linksys router, and now I can access this website but not other ones!

There is also something about maxium packets allowed per website that interfers with AOL if you have a linksys router.

Don't know if that helped at all, but... good luck!

It'll get fixed very soon. I've been working on a new backend for about an average of four hours a day for the past few days. wink.gif

I also figured out exactly what was causing the problem, so I can avoid ever making the same mistake again. smile.gif

Is this a cookies related issue? I don't know why people would use a browser that doesn't conform to the W3C standards. Just use IE... it's a much better browser than AOL's built-in browser.

It's more an issue of mod_rewrite causing infinite loops due to odd session variable problems, though cookies do play a small part in the problem.
