Looks good.

But I can't really tell, so you need to go here so I can see in person.

I love the way you advertise, haha

@OP: It's looking good, I actually like it to be honest. I'm getting a lip kit for my car, but it won't be my work...lol

Is that foam and clay? Or Bondo? I was gonna go with fiberglass for my custom front lip. Was also thinking of a whole new idea for my rear bumper too.

foam + bondo i lowered my bumper about 4.5 inches with it and 4 inches on the back. i have to sand it a lot more and put more bondo but it was rainning a lot so i couldnt keep sanding it but hopefully ill be done in less than 2 weeks ill post more pics later!

ps: i might do my sideskirts too haha

i cant imagine what will happen when your bumper lightly skims the ground when going up a steep ramp. luckly you arent faced with snow, it would break off within minuites

accualy my front lip is much harder than regular lip you can kick it really hard and it doesnt brake (testest many times) and there are brackets inside the lip and the whole lip made of hard foam is covered with 1/4 inches of bondo so its really hard it wont crack or brake that easy wink.gif

thats actually the problem... it will be too hard - plastic (stock bumper) or fiberglass has some give in it... so if you bottom out or hit something concrete - it will bend before breaking... this will just break since its sooo hard... i can bet its not harder than cement

I agree too and in that sense it's why I'm gonna post my custom set-up "when it gets done" with no step by step. Otherwise I'll be known as another failure in these type of prolonged threads.

Keep in mind that Bondo is just a body filler. It will eventually crack as it does not contain a good adhesion/flex characteristic agent as polyurethane or fiberglass can obtain.

i think it will be fine...all i would do is add some more bondo around the exhaust and make it a little bit more round around the pipe....not so boxy...if you round it out, smooth the edges, prime and paint it the right way, you'll be fine...i wouldn't worry about it breaking unless you bottom out really hard....bondo is tough stuff, more so then fiber glass, and when its done correctly will not crack and look like ass...it just need to be sanded down real smooth and primed and painted right.....i like it so far, just make sure you finish it the right way

accually everyone that use a lip or bodykit are in danger of braking it much faster than regular bumper only difference is that this lip cost me less than $30 + 4 hours of work and not $150 as original lip should cost.. so if i brake it it wont hurt me that much lol and yeah obvioslly is not hard as cement i bet any lip or bodykit is harder than cement. but ive tested in many ways so far.. kicked, pulled it bent it and it doesnt crack at all it pretty good but time will tell how long this lip will last.
it just gotta finish the rear lip and get sides and paint everything ast the same time.
btw are you using the lip kit i sold you?
