Will alignment fix this problem?? The tires are both slightly tilted inward towards the top..not majorly but surely enough to cause extra wear on the inner part of the tires. Just wondering if alignment may be the problem!?
thanks |

just take to any alignment shop. are you lowered at all? Not lowered yet, megan racing coilovers on the way though...my old struts were simply shot(rattling, springs worn from previous owners HUGE subwoofer box) so i replaced em with my 5th gen struts for the time being. I was thinking if i can simply adjust the cambers i might as well wait for alignment until i've installed the coilovers... thoughts? |

Well all cars come factory with some negative camber because it is good for grip. Too much and that's where you get uneven wear. Could you put a number on the degree of lean judging from a perpendicular line from the pavement?

Yeah take it in for an alignment. They'll set you to ~-1 all around.
And shop around for alignments. Find a place that offers a lifetime warranty on the alignment, because if you are going to be doing suspension work in the future you don't want to have to pay ~$80 every time you make a change for an all wheel alignment. Firestone, for example, is local to me and offers a lifetime warranty. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
