So, the weather let up a little and I decided to go to the local junkyards to see what I could find. Low and behold for 7000 yen (around 85 buck with the exchange rate) I found all kinds of treasures =)











Seems like my project is coming right along... Tonight I will post pics of all the blue LED's I've used in the interior (Damn my overhead courtesy lights are bright (blue) now) over in the interior section later.

Questions, comments, concerns... all are welcome =)

You got JDM tails, a TRd strut bar and some other stuff for 85 bucks thats a robbery. Id be going there just to rip stuff off and sell on ebay for like triple.

You SOB, how lucky is that?!? I wish there were such good finds like that over here..

I just got rear discs and premium 3 speaker door panels for $50. Just takes a lucky find. Id have to say that you definitely found one blackthunder.

Are you in the Military, if so you should hook me up with some parts like that strut bar and some of those tail lights. id pay you extra just for doing it.

Yeah, I'm in the military so can ship via an APO. I will keep an eye out for JDM parts and such for you guys and when I find them I'll post them up. Also, if people are in need of LED's I can source them but you are probably better off mail-ordering them seeing how they are pretty spendy here! (I recently spent over 100 us to have my interior go blue...)

If you ever find JDM tail lights in good condition, let me know. I don't need the harnesses, I already have a pair.

APO huh? Im in Ft Worth (live off base though)....never really had to deal with "mail" on base....I'll look into getting maybe a PO Box, is shipping is way cheaper to an APO....

Sadly, usually when you buy things from dealers, an APO costs more (almost like shipping overseas) and some companies are not willing to ship some or all products to an APO. It is kind of frustrating. I have made friends with people who live off-base though so if I can source some JDM parts from local in Japan, I can have them sent to a local address =D

It would be easier to just have them wrapped up as "parts" and sent that way...but lets not get into that. But shipping always sucks, you should load up, then take leave then sell it CONUS.
