after a long (in my eyes) hiatus from June 2012, finally back on the road





So here is the story of my celica.




so i dont get to ramble on too much, lets start out with the first picture i took of my car back in 2006 when I got her.


the first mod that i did was my JL speakers all around. nothing special. i wasnt too much into the whole 6gc scene until a little bit after.

i then stripped the hub caps and started putting every sticker i found on that car!







then i had finally gotten into the 6gc scene and started to mod her. first things first, a $70 weapon r intake from a fellow member. needless to say i felt badass installing it seeing as how it was my first mod.

after that came exhaust, a nice n\' rare SP1




THEN TRAGEDY STRUCK!
i had thrown a rod and my car was up for about 3months, saddest moment ever!


after all was said and done, i got a new rebuilt block.

the day it was back on the road

Then after not having it for a while i wanted to get her gifts, thus leading us into the...

then i put on my XS auto headers the NIGHT before i was leaving for my freshman year of college. ended up rushing and cutting to hastily and had a bad exhaust leak. and a lil bit after put heat wrap on the rad tubes
also i got one of the limited DCR 3points




then after a month or so, my engine quit on me while cruising around pittsburgh. had to tow it back home to the shop the block was built at in philly. ended up being a bad head gasket.



then i just started buying stuff while at school and putting it in

the dyno i was going to be able to hop on before i left for school broke
there are still a few miniscule adjustments i need to do to the tune map first before i dyno it.

good luck at the race man, i just did the last one i can because i have to put my snows on. it went good, good luck!

check the buy/sell thread every once in a while. if not then check to see if toyota can get them. they are toyota optional fogs

haha naaa i never had the time or money to get them mounted and its a good thing because it rain almost all day

man o man they would have handled great!

so im bored.
it sucks not having time or money to fix the small things on the car like fogs
exhaust
timing
etc.

i feel as if im neglecting the car when i dont buy anything for it haha



might as well ad a photo from my race last weekend.
grabbed 1st even with the engine problem.
tires got cut down a bit hehe. money down the drain.
my best time was 37.579 and the guy in 2nd got 40.9
car took a bit getting used to with the cams. it took me a few runs to get used to it


thats alot smaller than i expected lol

I guess im not really done with my car as i had previously posted haha
i am finished with performance but other new things where put on the list of "things to do"
i want to try and make the car ship shape and problem free. basically a reliable comfortable car

Toyota already figured out how to do that... its called keeping it stock! lol

I was going to say...then the cams...yeah.

Get the bish tuned and you'll be golden.

Its funny because as soon as the cold weather come...progress slows down ten-fold.
I still need to dyno it to see the improvement too

tiga, if i lived close to you i think our celica's would look similar...

ill be in chicago on my roadtrip! thats pretty close to you. i really really want to trailer along my car, but probably wont
