Jess - did you just He-Man the tranny out of the engine bay?
One pic its there, and the next its not... I know you said you were dirty, but dayam that would have been the best part!

I feel like I just skipped to the last chapter of the book and missed out on the entire story/climax. tongue.gif

Bwahahaha.

haha i lowered it down with a jack and then pulled it out of there. its heavy, but not too bad. The hard part was getting it all to line back up with no alignment tool. Finally just used a large socket and got it close enough to bolt in.

thanks to njccmd2002 I was able to get the correct rails and put the driver side 7th gen seat in this weekend. I will get pics as soon as I can. I like it, but I might put the 6th gen bottom cushion back in there. I'm a bit tall for the car and need to find a way to lower this seat some. I'm sick of being awkwardly reclined because my head hits the ceiling. If I didn't have a sunroof I'd have more head room..

terrible pictures but you get the idea... both 7th gen seats are in with heaters. Just need to wire in the switches.

no real updates, its been too cold to get anything done. I'm going to get the GT4 hood on there real soon when I have a chance to paint it in some warmer weather.

(can someone move this to the progress section?)

I have to do this soon as well... how hard was it to sand down all the bumps, etc?

I used a random orbital sander with 100 grit to start. Took me about an hour to pull the grills off and sand the top side of the hood. I have some body for I need to do to it so that's going to eat up a lot of my time. If I didn't have to fill any dents I would almost be ready for paint, so it didn't take long with the orbital.

That looks great.
You're just the man I need: I noticed on the last two pictures that you have (temporarily) stock hood combined with GT-4 bumper. Could you, please, take some pictures of how bad the gap is, looking from the "hood side"?
Thanks!
