To answer the legit questions, the car is completely stock suspension, stock GT wheels with 205/55/15 BFGs, tires are basically brand new.

I'm just trying to figure out if something is wrong or not. With all my of previous vehicles with open diffs, the tire with the least traction will always spin, no matter whether it's DS or PS. It just does not make sense to me that only one side gets power all the time.

It was my passenger side tire was the one with all the power in my old Celica, except when traction was an issue or when I turned. My open diff acted exactly as you are saying it should. My passenger side tire would always go bald quicker than my driver's side because it pulled more often than the driver's side. The power always took the path of least resistance. I don't necessarily think that it's something wrong with your car if all the power is going to the driver's side wheel, but your passenger side wheel should pull from time to time.

what could have happened: your diff locked up and broke the pinion gears, and lodging into the DS, causing the PS to spin freely.

way to check: leave car in park(auto) or in 1st(manual) jack the passenger side ONLY off the ground and try to spin it. it shouldn't spin. now jack both front tires off the ground, spin either one, and the opposite tire should spin in the opposite direction.

how are your tires ?

Just jack the front of the car up (use jack stands). Put the car in drive.... one wheel will spin. Get some gloves and slow the rotation down, see if the other wheel starts to spin.

If it does you dont have a problem. If you stop that wheel and the other wheel isn't spinng somethings wrong, but i'm willing to bet its fine.

I'm gonna say screw it and drive it. I'm not investing much at all in to this car. I want to get another Jeep after this semester. This car is embarrassing.

I need to get back in a Jeep. I'm 6'2, big, and this car is just not for me at all. It's old, ugly, tiny and crappy. If it was a hatch I'd like it more...

well if you decide to keep it, good, its a great car..
but if you decide to sell it, let me know first because i'll be looking for a gt celica for a future swap.
and your only like 20 minutes away. so either way. keep it in your mind.

Not everyone cares about their Celica like most of the people on this site.

His car most likely is a piece of crap and is embarrassing, let him junk it, who really cares.

If the car is so fukcin embarrassing then why the hell are you on this site? You do realize this site if full of hardcore enthusiests. take the god damn time and search the site and read the stories of what people poured there hard earned cash and blood sweat and tears into this "embarrasing" car. you will find some AMAZING cars on here. some noob joins a site for enthusiasts and people who love their car or like it in someway and insults the car that they love and put such work in? You have some nerve buddy. if you took the time to listen to WHAT THE FUKC everyone has been telling you, you would be in fine shape. this thread was answered to the extent that you dont need to worry about sh!t. and if you are so worried then take it to a shop. you unbelievable man. Im 6 foot 3 and fit fine in my celicas so i dont know what your bitchin about. do us all a favor and sellt he car to someone who will love it and take care of it, and who actually has a brain because obviously you dont. listen to what people are telling you. we are tryin to help but your being a prick about it.
