the only engine thing im doing is the tranny swap. im just scrapping the idea of even rebuilding the other engine. im keeping the block and some stuff, but im going to try to sell some of it.

for me it's tranny swap, exterior, suspension, and then after college will be all the good stuff haha

I can't wait till after college so the good stuff will just come very slowly. Lmao

I hate to spoil your dreams..... Lots of people envision themselves with a good job after college. Truth.. maybe only 15-20% of college graduates actually achieve this. Some don't even make it through college. When i finished college, i didn't get my career job till a year later. You have to be really dedicated to what you want to do and what you want to be in order to achieve the American Dream. I'm having a taste of it, but like everyone you only get hungrier as you eat better food. smile.gif

There is no such thing as the "American Dream". It's a hoax.
I realize that I might not have the best job, nor might I have a job right away. Well at least a full time job that is.
Who knows if I'm going to college. Maybe I might go into the Army or Marines. Who knows what will happen in the future. A plan is called a plan for a reason, and I have no real hope that all this that I envision will go into place because it might not. Whatever happens, will happen, and what doesn't, will not.

If I was living the American Dream and had money, I'd be driving a Corvette or a Viper. Celica would be my winter beater biggrin.gif

BTW, mkernz22 I'm thinking about the Army too. We shall see how things pan out this year.

BTW, The name's Mike tongue.gif
It's my last year of high school and I really haven't been motivated in the whole college application process...
I've only completed one application and I'm in the process of 3 other ones right now.
If I don't get accepted into 3 out of the 4 (as in I get into my least favorite one), then Army or Marines.
If I get into my top 3 choices, then no Army or Marines. We'll see how it goes though. Big decision and a lot of thinking will be coming my way.

I've had my car lowered for more than two months on Tein S-tech's and stock springs

Lol I'm a little confused by this statement... I think it might have been a typo. But you're totally right, I missed the part earlier where Mike said he replaced his struts. I assumed they were the original struts when I typed that. So yeah, Mike, you've got more than two months. Excuse my prior negativity. Your struts will definitely go bad; there's no question about that. It depends on driving style, road conditions, miles driven, etc. In my case, my struts blew virtually immediately because I was using the original struts, 10 years old, and I do entirely too many miles. In your case, since I seriously doubt if you're driving as many miles as I am and since you have newer struts than I did, yours will last longer than the whole day that mine lasted.

lol yea, definately meant to say stock struts.

I know member 97celiman had those Tanabes paired with KYB GR2's and he liked them.

i'm putting a similar setup on my 94 GT (i went ahead and bought the GF210s for the handling) and have heard nothing bad so far, and through ebay only paid about 350 for struts and springs so i recommend if you can just buy the GFs instead of the DFs
