After seeing Doggy put up some pics of the future of his Celica, i decided to do the same.
(Don't kill me Doggy, but i had to use one of your drawings. I can't draw worth a crap anymore frown.gif )

I decided to do a 2 tone paint.
Its all gonna be HOK paint.

Top is gonna be Silver with pearl in it
Bottom is gonna be the Candy red with gold pearl
to divide the colors, im gonna use a burnt orange pin stripe

Here is a pic of what im talking about.

Don't laugh, its all i really got biggrin.gif

I dunno man, i absolutely love the way your car looks....keep everything that deep blood red color like it was, because its so clean looking to me. Pleeeaaase....

And also, im assuming that youre talking about just using that paint scheme, and not doggy's bodywork, right? wink.gif

You should photoshop. Like you did last time. It kinda reminds me of the Dub City Supra...orange/black/red

Could be done up right...but I hardly like flames...I think they belong on old muscle cars myself. But it depends on how you do it. I see you have black flames outline with what...red? orange? could be alright..

I guess i can see where youre comming from. As much as i love your existing paint, it could look pretty unique i suppose....i guess if you can do the painting yourself than why not??

I think that ghost flames on your existing paint job would look badass....like when you can see them at certain angles really well kinda like a hologram-ish effect. From other cars that have done this, i think it looks pretty cool.

my buddy's blazer is 2 tone (black/burgundy) with chameleon flames. looks hot as hell. if u can make it perfect like his i would go for it, but if ya can't the definitely don't cuz a job like that is so much work and just to **** it up is terrible. ill see if i can find a pic of it... 1 sec... ah here it is:

so thats what it could look like. hes gonna be in world of wheels at mccormick place this weekend, im pissed i didnt know about it to put my car in there too. but yea man if u do it right it looks sweet as hell. that picture doesnt do it justice. i think either of those paintjobs will look nice, custom paint is the final step in a kick ass exterior. good luck wink.gif

all u need to do is paint ur front and rear lip and leave it at that...dont go all out with multi color paint schemes. Ur car is a clean car if u do anythign at all paint the hole thing like oarnge or Gunmetal or sompthing...just leave it a solid color....just my 2 cents

painting a whole car gunmetal never ends up lookin too hot, i saw an integra painted gunmetal w/ gunmetal rims and i dunno i didnt like it. the whole car was just blah-looking cuz it was all grey. yea dude if you're going for hardcore all show a custom paintjob like that done right is definitely the way to go, there is only so much bodywork that can be done to a car. when i redo my paintjob im doin somethin crazy custom like that. not flames and i havent decided yet cuz that like 2-3 years away, but its gonna be insane. whatever u pick i bet it'll be sweet, you wouldnt stand for your ride lookin sub-par.

i would do a different color, but since my car was originaly red, the engine bay is red.
Better to have a nice red that matches then a grey car with red underhood.
