I saw this one celica for sale and its claiming to have a "frozen" AC compressor.
due to the 'freezing' the alternator belt keeps breaking off, she says if i replace the ac compressor and belt, i can drive it back home. but i dont want to : a. buy a car and find out that there was something else wrong b. buy a AC compressor just to test it. i was thinking of connecting the camshaft pulley directly to the alternator so the battery charges and i can actually test drive it can i do this WITHOUT taking the compressor out? how what 'size' belt should i get to make this work the car starts on jump start but obviously i cant test drive it. im pretty sure people who remove ac compressor to save weight do it this way so i know its possible. just need size. is a 5s auto if ur wondeing -------------------- For Sale:OEM tail lights - make offer
