well getting ready to do the oil pump replacement on 95 celica GT and Im not sure if I have to take the oil pan off or not???? Will the oil pump come off with pan and strainer in place? thanx n advance

ya you gotta take off the pan to unbolt the oil pickup

yep. and 2 or 3 of the bolts holding the pan on thread into the the oil pump. if you are doing that, i highly suggest replacing the timing belt and water pump.
