Well it's that time again! Its time to start planning the 2nd MotY(Middle of the Year) meet for the west coast. At the last MotY meet we had over twenty beautiful moded 6gcs show up with people coming from as far as Portland. This year we hope to double that number and get members from all across the country to make the journey to share and show off their rides(that means you Joe!). Here is just one picture of the group that decided to do the cruise through the canyons after the meet, just so you can get an idea of the cars that go:



Where: Castaic Lake, California.About 40 minutes north of LA in the grapevine. This place did well for us last time, there is a lake for swimming, a lot of room for activities and BBQing, and its close to the canyons for cruising. However, there is an $8 per car fee to enter the park, but I will be getting in touch with them to see if we can organize a group rate to possibly get the price down.

When: June 23rd, 2012

Why: Because we need one grand summer meet a year to show off our cars!

Who: Anyone is welcome that owns a 6gc. You can bring a friend with another moded car but lets try to keep it a mainly celica meet.

1/20-Thread started just to give people a heads up on the meet so they can begin to set the time aside. Please don't post saying you will be attending because no one knows that they will be able to make it yet. I will be sending out a mass PM to the 80+ people on my 6gc spreadsheet in late february to gauge some interest. Then Put another one out in late may to early June to start getting confirmations.

-I have put an email out to a high up in the LA county recreation areas to try and reserve not only the area we had last time, but the entire parking lot. (That way we wont have god damn mariachi music this time)

-Are you guys cool with pitching in maybe $10 so the parking lot and everything is reserved for only us? I asked him about the entrance fee situation as well.

Only been one day and we have 10 people that will be attending!

won't make the same mistake as two years ago by wearing pants. Middle of the summer man it'll be hot as usual. yo Craig, bring your swimming trunk again, i'll jump into the lake with you this time.

Well im not sure if you added me to that 10 but +1 me man im so stoked i cant wait for this event. i wish it was sooner my girlfriend calls me a 9 year old girl waiting for justin beiber haha.

You know I'll be there and I'll be bringing another new member who also has a 6gc with a surprise yay and my 3s running strong now! So mark me for 2 celicas.

why would u downgrade? you already have a VVTi 2JZ-GE...just boost it!
