Hi, I am new to the forums here but I am toyota tech and owe 95 toyota celica. I thought i would see what kind of answer I get as me and my toyota tech friends can't seem to figure out this virbration issue with my celica. It's 95 toyota celica gt hatchback.
the Car seem to virbate really bad at 1,000 rpm, The dashboard on the passenger side make a loud virbating sound. At the same time another vibration goes from the front of the car to the back. The engine is fine the timing is right the motor is not shaking. Replace all the mounts on the car. Thinking maybe someone has run into the same issue and fixed the problem. Also I don't know if this is relate to the vibration or not but I was under the car and had someone put the car in drive while pressing on the brake. keep at 1,000 rpm. I notice when it got to 1,000 rpm the engine would a lot of stress on the motor mount to go up. I check to make sure the mounts where on tight and none were lose. any input or ideas would help. |
