250AWHP at 17 psi is not the same as 17 psi on a Front wheel HP, the drivetrain loss is a big factor here, 3rd gen 3s make right around 300 HP at 18 psi ( 2WD )

whats the specs on the engine/turbo/intercooler/management on that????

those are pretty good numbers, but that trailing off after 6k can be fixed (potentially meaning a higher max hp can be achieved)

stock engine, stock ECU, no fuel control, water injection, stock WTA intercooler, 3 inch exhaust all the way. if there was any fuel correction it would have yield better number, but my point was to show how much power is consumed by the AWD trans, a ST205 has the same amount of power with the same mods, but yet the numer is considerably lower at the wheel, because of drivetrain loss.

I have a very similar set up at the car on that dyno chart, haven't dyno yet as I haven't done anything to my setup that would require it, once I get my fuel management software for the HKS F con, then I'll go to the dyno for some tuning, I expect at least 15 whp extra because of the fuel corrections and cam degree adjustments.

hmm... 300+ is quite wishful, i think those levels are above fuel cut level with some kind of water injection safeguard,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuAdAhXlH98...e=plpp_play_all

these guys are struggling to push past 250 hp atw which in itself is an increase probably max boost 17psi before cut since factory is just 250 at the engine

I made 250hp on my 2nd gen motor at 15psi on the ct26.
Like culpable is saying, the dyno numbers on a swap will be higher due to lower drive loss. So 300 hp is not out of the question and other members here have reached it before.

is a small mod done to the wastegate, you add a spring to increase the tension, so it needs more pressure to open the wastegate.

I'll try to find a link for it.

of course that was with a WRC turbo ( steel wheel ) a non WRC turbo ( ceramic ) wouldn't hold for too long that kind of stress.

there you go

Click !!!

the car on pictures here is the car's dyno you saw. so at the time of dyno it had the helper spring mod already done, that's why it held boost like that.
