Hi Mike, great built, does i ask you where you connected the header tank and from where the breathing tank comes from? greetz Hi Sunny, I have -4 AN welded on the top of the water outlet elbow to feed the header tank, and -6 AN return to the bottom hose. The header tank is also fed by -4 AN from the old radiator overflow. The breather tank is -10AN and the rocker cover was stripped of PCV valve and metal press-in fitting replaced by weld-in bungs. Both tanks are custom made ![]() ![]() Here are some pictures of the shield, it needs some bufffing and some autosol, just made of alloy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reason for this, my manifold sits higher than the factory manifold, and the cardboard shield almost caught fire ![]() + the rain water pools up in the manifold and causes rust to it and the turbo, etc ![]() This post has been edited by delusionz: Jun 29, 2012 - 6:53 AM -------------------- Mike W

It is a very simple design , I poked the grill into a piece of cardboard to get the mounting holes right and traced the outline then trimmed it back to 10mm of the mounting holes, transfer template to sheet of aluminium. Then just 2 slits in the middle, bend it back and weld 2 triangle pieces , its good to have an engineer who's good with the tig

I suppose I've never shown my battery to boot relocation, please excuse my lack of boot vacuuming
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i remember having special rods made up where one end was died M6 and the other end was tapped M6, there is 2 M6 nuts tacked to the floor of my boot that these rods screw into, and then my bling alloy battery holder can be screwed in with SS cap screws ;D was just a special touch, if only my sh*t as wiring could be improved to do the photo justice ;/ This post has been edited by delusionz: Jul 5, 2012 - 9:48 AM -------------------- Mike W

Lately I've just been fixing up a few loose ends, deleted AC, finished water spray and tidied up a few wires and hoses ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() VIDEO: ![]() -------------------- Mike W

great to see some more work coming out of this thread
![]() With your intercooler sprayers, is it possible to adjust them to get a more atomised & wider range spray coming out? Also hought about swapping to the ST202 (I'm pretty sure it was that one) throttle cable for shorter length? -------------------- |

Hi, guess that's a future consideration , and ultimately the gen4 motor is the one to get. The main idea of this car is the low down torque, so I kept a stock head , you see unlike the ct turbos, this 28rs doesn't trail off at 6000 anyways. I do understand there's huge gains to be had though
