Thanks, the ragin cajun. p.s. Its an auto trans. I second the fluid level comment. Did you put the torque converter bolts back in? Ive seen sillier mistakes before. A test for you- check the fluid level on the dipstick with the engine OFF. Now check it with the engine running and the trans in park. Now check it with it in drive while running( be safe dont run yourself over!). The fluid should drop on the second two checks, if the fluid level is the same your trans fluid pump is shot. The pump and the torque converter would be the only reason I can think of why it wouldnt engage in any gear. |

Try swapping the relay next to it to see if that restores starter function, that way your sure the relay is the issue.

Prob is, ...now that i have the trans fluid in, its not starting. I know it getting fuel because it started before i put the trans fluid in, so why wont it start now? The trans fluid doesn't effect the fire, so whats the freaking deal?! |

a quick and easy way to see if its getting fuel is to take some carb cleaner and spray some past the throttle body, turn it over. If it runs you have a fuel problem, if it doesnt it has an ignition problem.

If it runs you have a fuel problem, if it doesnt it has an ignition problem. Its getting fuel. I know this because, after I turn it over and stop, fuel comes back out of the throttle body(I've got the air intake off of it). Its just weird that this happened right after i put trans fluid in. I know it shouldn't have anything to do with it, and yet... |

Fuel....coming out of the throttle body? I think that's your issue right there.
