Today I drove my car around neighborhoods and backroads to break in the rebuilt motor. Got interrupted by severe weather, though...

the brown celica is a restore in process shell, the white celica is a donor parts. It will be scrapped at the end.

Yeah, thinking about an MR2 Turbo or an RX7 (FD3S). Would love the RX7 but it's a bit impractical because of the rotary. Fun though..

Well today I did some calculations to figure out my gas mileage, and after I fixed my exhaust leak a few weeks ago, I am now getting about 28-29 mpg mixed from the 23ish mpg I was getting with the leak. Mind you that I have 238,XXX miles on my engine, with an ebay header, 2.25" exhaust piping, no cats or resonators, and then just a muffler sitting at the end of all of that lmao

But who will you call when the RX7 breaks down? Rotary mechanics are few and far between. Unless you're up for learning on how to work on them. What I'd have to do if I ever got one. I'd definitely would have to drive one for awhile first, to make sure I'd like it enough to justify learning how to fix them.

thats so bad.... never had a job interview where they took your hair? unless you seem like your on drugs..

Today, ripped out the dash in my 94 st to get the air bag on the passenger side. then went to the 98 ripped out the dash, put the new air bag in it. put it all back together. Oh yeah, took the window off my 98 gt, then took it off the st, LIFTED IT UP AND BAM THERE WAS A BIG ASS CRACK FROM TOP TO BOTTOM my luck!. but on the bright side, found out the car was bought from a dealership, so makes me wonder, if they might have fixed the oil leak when it was there... figners crossed!

There are a couple of rotary specialists here, so that won't be a problem. They're the same companies that sell them (with warranty).

Today I got my PolyPushings from www.gt4.com.pl

Pretty happy with them, except for a few minor flaws in the product, which will have negligable effect on performance.

Today I got the cash for my truck and finalized the sale so I'll be getting all the parts I need for the GT-Four so I can fix it and get it on the road.

First order of business, pull turbo and send for rebuild a.s.a.p. I can do everything else while it's gone.
