 What's wrong???, rotational thumping sound |

Okay, so after replacing my clutch, Which can be seen here
I've having yet ANOTHER transmission issue i believe. Everything worked great after doing the clutch, until about a little over 1,000 miles after the install. When moving, I'm hearing this rotational thumping sound from the axles is sounds like. Over the course of 3-4 days it got so bad i took the car off the road and jacked it up. The sound comes directly from where the axles connect into the transmission. Its directly related to speed too....the faster the car goes, the faster the thumping. So it doesn't matter if I'm in gear or not, it's all about the present of speed and how fast they are rotating. My questions is, any ideas what could be going on inside of there? I'm curious cause I'll only have 1 morning to take it apart and put it back together so I'm wondering if I should just get another stock trans to throw in or if anyone has an idea of what part could be going out. My mechanic friend's boss said he thinks is could be a trans support bearing? I have a '96 gt 5sfe 5speed...anyone got a trans near maryland for me? haha Thanks ahead of time for the info!
