I'm bringing the 350Z up there, Zach. We'll have to go for a RWD cruise down 71. ![]() I'll bring the tow truck. You know why late model fords are made so aerodynamic? To improve the fuel economy of Chevy tow trucks. ![]() -------------------- ~bloodMoney

Although I'm not a Mustang fan, I have to say Ford has come a long way in the last few years. Have you seen the concepts for the next body style? They're planning to do away with the "modern retro" look and go more European, possibly resembling the Evos concept. You just might have to trade up. ![]() ![]() Reminds me of an Aston. Like a fat, hungry Aston with a dinosaur head. lol to bad ford blew chevy out of the water hahaha. annnnd who was the american auto manufacturer that didnt need to be bailed out?? oh right, ford! ![]() I'll still never own one. After working on my brothers Taraus, customers Fords, and friends Fords, I will never, ever put that key on my ring or in my pocket. Horrible designs, cheap manufacturing, and ****ing oddball decisions when it comes to bolt size, length and location. However, if I was forced to choose between a Ford CAR or a GM CAR, I'd pick a Ford. On the truck end, GM has it won in my books. Chrysler doesn't exist in my vocabulary. "HEY GUYS! LETS PUT THE BATTERY IN THE WHEEL WELL!" "Hey guys! Lets design a transmission that can't figure out what gear it should be in! Oh! You're driving on the highway?! SECOND GEAR! No... no wait... FIRST! No.... FIFTH! Oh... you overheated. Guess the tow truck will decide what gear now." I think ford builds a superb drivetrain and motor, but when it comes to the rest of the vehicle its crap. Im on my 6th or 7th window regulator on the 97 Towncar for just the rear passenger window. If probably replaced the other 3 window regulators and motors between 10-15 times combined.
Thats the thing I love most about toyota, everything on the body is very solid and well designed, dont have to worry about the doorhandle breaking off in your hand |

The old plastic cracks in the cold and when people are dumbasses and pull hard to try to open the door, they snap right off. I mean, it's mostly user error, but I'm constantly selling door handles for Toyotas in the winter time lol -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. ive alwaysed loved fords and mustangs, ive been considering going back to my roots as well and picking up another mustang. as far as im concerned i believe ford has some of the best cars on the market right now as they produce veryy good power along with great fuel economy for the power they produce. the new 5.0 pushing 420bhp isnt bad at allll considering the 2010 camaro had a 6.2 pushing 426bhp lol plus who wouldnt want a 3.5l twin turbo v6 family car pushing 365bhp like the Taurus SHO?
great pick up man! even tho v6 it still has an impressive power! -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

I'm going away from my roots... once I get ride of my celica it will be the first time I haven't owned a Toyota... but I'll probably end up w/ one, maybe corolla, in April as my every day driver and park my SRT8 in the garage where she belongs to be brought out on nice pretty days. Once I buy a new car the SRT will be getting some street drags but not about to buy that with how much it rains down here and driving it everyday.

It's been a while so here's an update.
I installed an Airaid CAI, Magnaflow street series catback exhaust, and put a 93OCT BAMA Performance tune on her. Then I played a bit with Plasti-Dip. Did the plate covers, rims, rear deck-lid, and rear 1/4 windows. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- |

needs more low and less tire sidewall. Looks good man, looks good in person too! nah muscle cars need sidewall imo ![]() A little update: Installed Subs, LED light strips wired into the trunk light (so they turn on/off when you open the trunk) and put the auto headlight switch in. I see how it is. You saw my fancy LED strips wired up in my Celica so you go and steal the idea for your Mustang.

I didn't know you had led strips O.o Nah I bought these for the blue celica about 2 years ago but never got around to installing them. I still have a bunch of other strips (but they are blue) that I will probably never get to use. The auto headlight switch took about 3 minutes to instal. popped the trim off, unplugged the old one, and plugged in the new one.
