Kurt, good call on rav 4....celica and rav stuff are nearly identical. subframes in the front almost the same, sway bars are interchangeable... Rearend might be close enough to work...would need beefed up though

Thanks! Car is actually already back on the road. I end up ordering the parts from the UK.

I end up getting everything (minus the subframe, axles, arms, etc) plus the driveshaft for about $750 shipped. Not fantastic, but I didn't want to sit and wait.

Those parts from canada are more expensive but look like they are in fantastic shape.

Well decided last week I will be doing Sno*Drift again in January.

Gatar11, just sent me these pics from service last year, after I ditched the car and cut two tires on a stump. Hopefully this year will be better, but our front ends are so weak I imagine i'll be needed at least new front fenders.

I did the exact same damage to my passengerside earlier this year. Ive still got the clean driverside I'll let go for next to nothing if you need them.

If anyone is interested in something cool....

This is Ramana Lagemann's car. Just doing pre 2013 prep. He runs super production and not open, so it's not even a top spec car. That suspension is about $15k.

Nothing too exciting lately. Built a tire rack, and removed the deck off my trailer and por15'ed it. The underside was badly rusted. I didn't weld one of the 4x7 plates on and made a storage area. I made it bolt on.

I'm keeping, spare stock suspension, arms, steering rack, driveshaft, axles, radiator, etc... Never have to unload it... will just sit in there all year round incase I break anything at a rally.

Starting building the tire tractionizer this weekend, so that should be somewhat interesting. I have 4 blizzak ws70's and 3 hakka R's from last year I'll use as spares. The hakka's are better tires, but they are getting harder to find at the price I want. Had 6 hakka's last year, cut two on a stump, and one fell off the trailer after a strap broke (hence the tire rack for this year).

Started building a tire tractionizer. Drop the weight of the car on to the rollers run the car for a minute or so on each wheel. Creates a sponge like tire. Pretty much extreme sipping.

Need to finish the other roller, but it's getting there. Sucker is sharp.

They are gutter screws. Honestly i'm a little worried they may be too long and should have used a washer on each screw to shorten them up.

The ones they sell for like $1k, use carpet tacks, and a lot more of them, but takes a lot more effort due to the fact you have to weld each one, or use some kind of adhesive/epoxy.

If it doesnt work I can just cut them off the rollers and start again.

New project. Well as soon as I finish remodeling my kitchen.

Flood damaged solstice, for the girlfriend. Interior is completely trashed, exterior is in pretty good shape. Engine, we'll find out. But the plan all along is for a v8... but if the engine isn't hydrolocked, I'll probably fix it as is, then get the R title. Then maybe a v8 later down the road.

Picked it up yesterday in NJ. It's a sandy victim.

I always did like how those looked, but didn't like driving my friend's NA 5 speed. The GXP would probably be better to drive and stuffing a Corvette V8 under the good would definitely fix my gripes with the base model. Don't expect it to outrun your Celica with the stock Ecotec though. tongue.gif
