hi guys,
just wondering, im using a custom full 3" (downpipe is 2.5") exhaust piping? i've been told that turbo doesn't like back pressure. so made it this way... my engine is stock, i got ~245wHP on dynojet... some claim that the 3" piping is to large for the amount of BHP, and advised me to add a center bullet or start with 2.5" till the mid then continue with 3" in getting more torque. need advice to decide Thx This post has been edited by zeus83: Aug 2, 2010 - 11:02 PM |

3" is just fine, get the Ebay downpipe and build an exhaust on after that.

If you're running less than 350hp on your 3sgte, and you bung on a 3" system, you'll be suffering from boost creep like a bitch.
Best thing to do is if you want 3". just do it but keep your flexi as stock size untill you're engine can produce a few more horses. This post has been edited by yellowchinaman: Aug 5, 2010 - 1:46 AM |
