Hi, all
I just checked out Tanabe USA website, they have made several kinds of coilovers and springs for ST202, it should be fit for our ST204 GT Celica. Moreover, their price is very reasonable, so do u guys think it should be a good deal and also a good tune-up company for our 6G Celica??

Yeah, I looked at tanabe's too and it seemed like a good deal.

If you get a tanabe coilover suspension kit, it comes with everything you need right? Struts/Shocks, coilover springs, dampner, etc...

Well any time you get a whole coilover suspension kit, it replaces your whole suspension? Never bought suspension kits before so I am not sure how it goes.

Yeah, they will fit.

I'm actually in the process of choosing either the Tanabe Sustec Pro SO-C type 11 or the JIC SA-1 kit.

I've heard great things from friends who are using Tanabe, but the only thing is that they dont have adjusttable dampening and the JIC do.

hard decision to make.

The one good thing is that both are close by and i could just go pick them up. =)

No, it should fit probably, coz the suspression of ST202 is as same as ST204, because they are the family of ST20#.

thats not right, the GT-4 have the code ST205, but a different suspension. I believe the ST202 has the superstrut system. Someone please correct if i'm wrong.

I think some do, and some do not. There is a sticker on the back window if it's super strut.

i drive an import st202 and have installed tanabe sustec pro on my car, handling and performance i give it 10/10 but when it comes to comfort its not really suitable for daily driving, can give u a headache if u are not use to it. But hell to comfort when driving is made so much better !!! definately worth getting biggrin.gif may sell mine in the near future, i keep u posted if i plan to sell them, trouble is that im in the Uk.

Junior - the superstrut systm i believe is on all GT4s (st205) and the SSIII models inc BEAMS, then the SSII was optional to have superstrut suspension installed cause as far as im aware my st202 did not come with superstrut suspension smile.gif

JIC's website doesn't list an adjustable application for our cars.
