Ok, got my keyless entry in yesterday, started to install it today. I got the power sources and ground, and i wired up the locks. That part works great! I want to also wire it up to the parking lights, but i dont know which wire it is, and also the horn and dome lights. Another question is the starter interupt... i know i need a relay for it, but how would i wire it up from there? its a "(-) 500 mA Armed Output" wire.
Sorry about all the Q's, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

*EDIT* BTW, the Horn Honk, Sarter Kill, Illuminated Entry and Parking Light wires are all negative trigger output wires...

For the parking lights, you'll wire terminal 85 of a SPDT automotive relay to the negative trigger parking light wire from your alarm. Terminals 30 and 86 will go to a fused +12 volts wire from the battery. Terminal 87 will go to your parking light wire at your driver's side kick panel.

For the illuminated entry, what I did is pull off the door sill and the kick panel cover on the driver's side. I then found a red and white wire that had this black thing shoved into a connector. I simply connected a wire to this wire, and then I wired that to terminal 87 of a relay. I connected terminal 86 to a fused +12 volts wire from the battery. Terminal 30 connects to a solid ground source, and terminal 85 goes to your illuminated entry from your alarm.

For the horn relay, I'm not really sure which wire it goes to, as I simply wired up a siren to my alarm.

For the starter kill, just follow this diagram.

Where is the best place to wire up a fused 12volt wire from? Also, which wires are for the parking lights in the kick panel? And for the parking lights i have the same 12volt wire going to both 30 and 86?
Thanks,
-mike

The best place is straight from the battery. Run a wire that's at least 12 gauge from the battery to a fuse holder(within 18" of the battery), and from the fuse holder, run that wire through your firewall into your interior.

I'm not too sure about the parking light wire. I just tapped into a fuse for mine.

And yes, the +12 volts wire goes to both terminals. Once you understand how relays work, you'll get it. wink.gif

So whats the best way to split it up to go to 3 relays (4 wires)? And im guessin use a 30 amp fuse because thats what the relays are rated at... Anyone else know where the parking light wire is?
Thanks coomer for your help

OK, got everything hooked up that i wanted, but still havin a few problems. I dont think im getting an output from my dome light supervision wire ( - 200mA ) and the led no longer works.
With the domelight, i wired it up to a seperate channel to see if it works, and it did, so i know i wired it correctly. Is there a way to see if the wire is giving out the negative signal? I have a DMM. And also is there a way to see if im getting power to the LED?
Thanks

For the dome light wire from the alarm, hook the positive end of your multimeter to some +12 volts source. Then hook the negative end to the dome light wire, and disarm the alarm. wink.gif

For the dome light wire, you will need to hook it up to a relay to get it to work. Hooking it up directly to the dome light will not work.

As for the LED, I'm not very sure. Is it the LED that came with the alarm?

Yah the LED came with the alarm. Im using a relay for the dome light, im pretty sure its the output thats not working. And where should i run the antenna from the alarm?
*EDIT* Coomer: What lights did you use for your gauge cluster exactly? I really like the color you have...
Thanks
