im just curious if you are able to paint them to make them look like the 94-95 style, or if it wont turn out. and if you cant, any way to repair machined alloys?

yeah you can paint them.. Sand down the rough spots and clean them up real nice and paint them silver. I did my g/f's wheels on her's and they came out real nice. I used Dupi color wheel coating paint from autozone or meijers. U can just about use any kind of spray paint though. I didnt even cover the tires. Put some tire gel on the tires and start painting. Let it dry and then get a wire brush and brush the tire clean.

Alright...here is my girlfriends celica with the wheels i painted. It gives them a different look but i like it and think it looks clean.

and here is my 3000Gt with the factory wheels painted a graphite color. I dont know whether or not i like that color or not? But yeah the dupicolor wheel coating paint does pretty good...

if you wheels look like crap then paint them. I wouldnt paint them if they are in good shape and not peeling. Its easy to paint them but takes some time. Just make sure you take all the wheels off when you do it.

my wheels have like, this dark colored grime/corrosion in between the spokes and I tried a brillo pad and it really didnt do anything but make it smooth, still dirty, so I think im gonna paint them and my calipers at the same time, do i need to wetsand the wheels first?
