Ever since I replaced my suspension my car is like living hell. I want to throw my car away. After spending $2100 Canadian on Koni Yellow and Ground Control Coilvers I'm not happy at all with the noise and ride quality. When I turn at a low speed the front makes a clunking/knocking noise and when I go over a bumb or just driving at a low speed I'll hear my front left making a noise. It may need to be lubricated though but why should it since it's only 3 weeks of having the replacement in my car.
To all of you who have modified your suspension do you hear a squeeking noise when you push your front bumber down or rear down. When i give it a good decent push I'll hear this eeehh eeehh eeehh eeehh. Anybody know why that sound comes out and is this god damn nasty sound normal? Well if anyone can share or tell me whats up that'll be great. |

Same thing happened after i installed my springs. I took it over to my friend who drives an MR2 and has coilovers and he had it to. The solution, screw in those bolts a little more! If you think you cant do it any more get someone stronger than you to do it as far as they can. And btw your screwing in the strut brace part. That should do you fine.

Okay I just brought the car back to the same shop and they added a rubber onto the coilover. It got rid of the noise but he told me he got this rubber off of another brand of coilovers called skunk 2 for a civic 1990. Anyhow regardless if it is for my car or not it took the noise away from my car when I turn. He only gave me two for the front since the back wheels don't turn.
I'm happy camper now. |
