I put the spoiler together and it looks pretty good, the rear extensions however, dont seem to be fitting as well as i would have hoped. I might have to have a professional put them on and mold them cuz there are soe nasty gaps. I'll take photos later.

Mine didn't line up well enough to bolt them on either really. Oh well, it'll look a whole lot cleaner with everything molded on. I wish I had the money to get everything done now.....looks like I've got some nice decorations for my room at least for the meantime.

those are worth buying if you have the money. unlike the JDM hatch tails, there is a VERY noticeable difference between the regular coupes and curren tails... and anybody will know that, not just people who know our toyotas...

I disagree. I don't think people who 'don't know our toyotas' are gonna know one way or the other. Nobody ever thinks my car is a Celica. Like they're gonna be like, "Hey, you've got nonstock taillights for your sixth gen Celica couple?". Nobody will know, because our cars aren't overly popular. JDM tails, in my view, are a complete waste of money.

sorry, my point of view is that i didn't throw $ out the window for some unique tails...anything other than stock smile.gif

Thats a completely subjective statement. I bought my Currens for ME, nobody else. I HATE stock coupe tails, i hate orange. So when i saw Currens i fell in love with them. With the JDM heads and tails i feel my car looks alot newer than a 94.

The fact that their JDM has nothing to do with it, i could care less. However, I feel like you've completely contradicted yourself with buying clear corner/marker lights. On a lesser scale, its the same thing.

yea, but other people would notice and appreciate those more than just the driver tongue.gif

while we're talking about tails, can ANYONE get a hold of those Gang's tail-light covers...
there only about $50 i think, and I would really like to have them here in the US.

Hey all! Yeah I got my front and rear splitters yesterday. I think I'm going to have to get them molded on because there would be too much of a gap if it were just bolted. But I'm so excited!

are you sure about the gap?
mine has a gap when i held them up(for hatchback), but when i bolted them on there was only a slight gap on the very end(opposite side even)

if not, i think you might be better off shifting the bolt inside the wheel well other than adding fiberglass(will stick out from rest of car a lot)

IDK its fiberglass, the way that looks its as if when i bolt it, it'll crack the glass.

If anyone ever sees a pair of those on Ebay again please let me know. I really want a set and can never seem to find them. Is the name usually Curren tails, or is it listed as something else?

There was 2 sets of extensions on it and the TRD wing. Here's a link to the original GB to give you an idea of what everything cost and its got a few more pics.
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7933

Also, if you are really interested in them now, PM chrisc to see if he's got anything left in stock. He said he was probably gonna have some parts, I'm just not sure what all he's got.

Chrisc has followed up on the fitment issues so if anybody has questions I'll forward the emails he's sent me and some solutions to the problem. Its a basic issue with mine and shouldnt take me very long to get them to fit really nicely. I"ll let you guys know how they turn out.

Yeah he sent me a response about this also. I'm still a lil upset that this wasn't address when I bought them. Have I known these issues a head of time I would of thought more about purchasing these. frown.gif

Hey super. Can you fwd me the email he sent you? Maybe we got the same one?

Don't start to turn on Chrisc for this.
He's fixing it! he's not just keeping things the way they are, and you got these Rare things for cheap. Mine rear OEMs were off at first, but i mean...nothing a little sanding can't fix.

Im not mad at Chrisc at all...with custom parts you cant expect perfect fitment. He's talked to the manufacturer about it and emailed me often about it and things are fine. I think it'll turn out just right in the end.
