Ok these might sound like stupid questions but I need help. My check engine light is on and I know why but the damn thing is set to the ecu reseting it doesnt help. I need to erase it. What cable do I need for a code reader and does it hook up to the diagnosis box under the hood or where. Thanks for all the help.

If you buy a code reader it should come with a cable. The plug will be somewhere below the steering wheel. I just took mine to autozone.

The diagnostic plug may be in the engine bay I have one there to. The code reader plugs in, under the steering wheel like I said. I've had it done many times. |
