Hey all,

I'm new to this site, and I love it! Lots of great info that I have been searching for a while. While browsing, I checked out the information page listed on the home page and found the JDM head (projection and clear high beams) and tail lights. Where can I go to find info on purchasing these lights? Thanks!

I'm glad to have found this site.

A though just accured to me.... When I got my 3sgte I got it from a guy that deals jdm engines in canada... while I was making payments on my engine( yeah how cool is that!) I got to know this guy pretty well... I might call him and see if he can get the jdm lights and tails for a decent price... don't know if he can but I will try.

I'm pretty sure that the jdm lights and tails went to the Canadian issue alltracs I bet a toytoa dealership in Canada could get them for us.

ummm, dude, you are pretty knowledgable and all, but I don't think Canada got any alltracs after the 1993 model year. also, as far as I know basically any Toyota dealership can get JDM parts, but its a pain in the ass for them to do it hence the premium, not to mention the parts are hella expensive to begin with.

There was one year that toyota imported some of the all tracs to canada... not sure which year it was though. and it was a limited issue. The guy that I bought my 3sgte had all kinds of all trac parts that where canadian issue for the 6th gen... even though you can get jdm parts for a local dealer ship you pay up the ASS for them... If you know someone that can get them out side of the US they can ship them to you for a lot cheaper.... I paid $6 in import taxes and all that stuff on my 3sgte instead of the $400-500 it would of costed to have it shipped from Japan.

Canada never got the sixth gen Alltrac as a production model. Toyota may have imported some for racing purposes or something, but they were never offered at Toyota dealerships in Canada.

I'm talked to my guy in Canada last night about this to find out what was up and he claims up and down that there were alltracs that where sold in Canada in 96... he owns one of them and he bought it directly off the lot, now if this was toyota dealers importing them and then selling them off or they where released by toyota to Canada he didn't know. But they where there, at least a couple of them...

Point is he is gonna check into the JDM lights for me and figure what they will cost.

Which JDM tails are you fellas referring to?? They're not a whole lot different than the US version other than the JDM 97-98 which have the clear portion on the outer part, rather than the inside portion. I have JDM's on mine and I'm waitint to get rid of'em. If you fellas are going to pay $400 to purchase and ship them I'll find some over here and see how much I can get them for. I could probably find some at salvage yards and get them to ya for less than $120. Let me look into it.
