i want to to and ignition upgrade and i was looking at some msd parts and the crane hi-6 , my Queston is where do i get a cap to run an exteral coil , do i have to modify the stock on or what

look i had the msd ignition system and let me tell u one thing IT DOES NOT DO A DAMN DIFFERNCE! dont waste ure money and go buying that ignition systems they dont work.

if you use MSD... you'll need the following:

coil tower power, PN 8803 (for your cap to run external ignitor)
an aftermarket ignitor (blater 2 always works, PN 8202 with bracket PN 8213
a tach adapter (use PN 8910 eis)
and an ignition box

but unless you're going to run boost or nos, you don't need it... the stock toyota stuff is pretty potent

i am turboing for sure , might run low boost this summer and i am for sur pulling motor this winter or at least after the show season that way it doesnt matter how long it takes me to do the internals so i can safey run alot more boost just wanted to know so i can start getting parts together
