To my knowledge nobody has cracked the 7a ecu. The people with the knowledge don't care to try. Why do you need it? Are you trying to tune a standalone? Any base map for a similar engine (similar displacement, ignition type, MAP/AFM, etc) will work to get you started.

I see. Sorry to break it to ya, but you're gonna have to start from scratch (or from some similar base map like I said). Info like that just isn't available for hardly any cars, let alone an ST celica.

Thats very very interesting. What else can he do? And what do you mean by 'stock' ecu. Is it really a modded stock ecu?

yes, it is a modded stock ecu..... i somewhat know what he does, but he doesn't want me telling anyone

and he did it to my 4a-fe ecu.... it needed to be modified to run my smallport 4a-ge... and it does so quite nicely..... (now i gotta make a bodykit mold for the kit he made because he did my ecu for me, lol)

i'm not sure what else he can do to them, to be quite honest..... but if it's to the point where you need a lot of customization on the ecu, he'll just tell you to go with a megasquirt setup (~$150 for a build it yourself programmable ecu)
