Anyone got $300 for a set of Projectors?, Only 5 sets though? Options

I found this guy in the UK who owns a junkyard, and he has 5 celicas GT4s which were in accidents only one of them was front impact but lights in good condition, he would be willing to rip them out and sell them to us, on one condition, we pay for shipping. not a bad deal. BUT!!! I am waiting to hear back from him and he wants payment in full b4 he tears them out!

I wouldn't get too excited too quickly.
You'll need to check if they are OK for LHD cars.
May be just a case of the beam angle.
The following is quoted from Fensport UK site.

All of the projectors are the same. They have adjustment mechanisms in place so that they can be adjusted for right hand drive or left hand drive cars.

Can you ask him if he can get some front end pieces for me? I'm missing about 5 small pieces to finish my st205 front end (grills, stuff like that).

I'm going to be in the UK towards the end of next week for 6 days.
I make no promises but I may be able to help.
If you care to PM me with the guy your dealing with and the address of where he is, then I could check the guy out as to whether or not he's ligit, act as a go between, pick the stuff up and get a better shipping rate, etc..


EDIT: I'm not trying to high-jack this post...just seeing if I can be of help.

OK THIS IS THE DEAL! i just got off the phone with the guy, and he seems shady about the descriptions and condidtion of the lights, i dont know if he is trying to hid something or if he is really going to send them out. And he will only accept Money orders, which makes me to believe he is going to take our money in run. I dont know about you guys but....i dont have 300$ to take a chance with?

hey,
first off projector headlights are just as in demand to UK GT4 owners as they are here so i highly doubt this guy had them and if he did price is shady as that is only 160 or so UK pounds he is selling them for ..

also all the desirable parts we want are just as in demand and things like used GT4 rasing blocks are very hard to get even for UK /Europe guys ..

On top of all this shipping right now is nuts .. i am having 2 GT4 foglights ,grille and white GT4 MPH guages shipped over and it is $88 .. this is after looking at numerous shippers .. UPS wanted 150 bucks to ship ..nuts .. The UK pound is very high against the dollar which makes nothing cheap for us in the UK ..

bottomline this sounded to good to be true and i am sure it is .
