I just bought a set of Intrax springs for a really good price. But I think I really want a set of tein springs, I really just want them because they are green just like my car. Which is better? Is there anyone out there who would be willing to trade tein's for my intrax?

Their was somebody on this site who said they liked their intrax springs better. I just don't know who. But I don't know that much about suspension. confused.gif

Intrax are probably lower. I don't know the Tein drop amount, but IIRC Intrax is 1.75"... I've heard people say they liked Intrax, but also about the same number of people complaining about them being too low, or riding poorly. From what I've read here Tein seems to be the preferred choice.

Kind of off-topic, but does anyone know how the Teins compare to Eibach Pro-Kit springs? I have the Pro-Kits on my car now, but I am looking into something a little bit firmer.

Here's the specs on the Teins.
Drop: FRT 1.4", RR 0.9"
Spring Rate: 218lbs/in FRT, 123lbs/in RR

As far as how they compare to Eibachs? NYCelica has S-Tech/KYB set up and he says they handle great, and ride quality rides like stock. Another member I asked said he loved them and there's absolutely no body roll.

Mine should arrived May 7th!! WOOT! Just gotta order my GR2's. smile.gif

i previously had the eibach prokit but switched to intrax springs....i must say it has been one of the best choices ive made....the prokit isnt that great if you want your car to look and feel lower b/c it doesnt really do much at all, also since i had 16's the wheel gap still looked huge....after switching to intrax the ride quality is still the same (like stock), the wheel gap is gone, but now i have to angle dips and driveways and this is a stock 94 bumper

I also have 16" wheels, and am sporting a rally-like wheel gap with the Pro-kit. Guess I should've gone with Sportlines or another spring manufacturer when I got my ssuspension. I'm not so much worried about ride quality as firmness, so I may end up going to a weld-on coilover that will give me more flexibility.

I really hope that you're not just going with a certain spring bcus of the color of the material that it's enclosed with! confused.gif Doesn't seem right? Plus you can't see it anyways? biggrin.gif

No I do not just want the Tein because of the color. I've drove cars with tein springs before and the ride was really good. Plus everyone who has them seems to like them.

I've receieved a few pm's about selling the intrax, so I will be accepting offers for them.
