Alright, as you all know I am getting 18 x 7.5 Paradyme F220's. I went to whalen tire.com to just get an idea of how much the prices are going to be for the size tire i want. I put in my car...and it lists one size for the 4 inch increase (18")..and thats 225 or 215/35/18s...now at first i was going to get a 35 series tire but i don't want to hit a bump going like 40 and dent my rims. That would fricken suck. So i want to go with a 40 series tire but it doesnt list them or recommend them I guess. Will 215 / 40 / 18s work with my car?If i went with a 235 id dent the rims and if i went with 225's my speedo would be real messed up...can i get some help/advice here?

i am runnin on kumho supra exstas 215/35/18. i have the damn bounciest ride in the world which means i hit a bump and youll feel it. like ridin in a wooden wagon. but you dont need to worry about denting the rim. oh yea, the kumhos i am runnin are the cheapest. i read a lot before i decided to get them and it seems that they are the best for the money. $95/tire

I'm not paying my parents are. It's a graduation present but they aren't gonna drop a grand for tires lol, they want this to be reasonable. I was looking at the Yokohoma Parada Spec IIs , they are around $130 and are the best bet i've heard for the price, (great tires)...and the reason i want the 40s is because the ride wouldn't be as bumpy..i want a little meat on the tire...and the protection from dents...

I have 215/40/18 Falken tires and I haven't scratched or dented any rims yet. Sure it's bouncy but it isn't that bad. You get used to it.

With any kind of low pro tire, you're gonna feel the road more.
