hmm...I'd be interested in side skirts like the varis or blade kit.
It would be cool to get lips for the GT4 bumper.
And curren rear extensions...

Strictly coupe parts are going to be outta the question. Theres just not enough coupe owners to support the market. A front bumper fits everybody, so try to get something along those lines.

I got to agree with Macavaley. Lets get a complete new kit. Heres a chance for something new. We dont need copys. We need some of you artists to start making sketches. I like the sides that made for the eclipse. Its a one piece dual fender flares connected to the sideskirts with shark gills coming out of the rear fender flare. FiberglassUsa is going to need a car so they can do fitting. Anybody live in Pomona? FiberglassUSA does good work, and we need to seriously take full advantage of this kit!

I would also be interested in a clean looking front lip. Something along the lines of the Hiro lip but with sculpting to match the stock sideskirts and oem rear extensions. Also, something not too low.

Ok heres a idea tell me what you think...

No big mouth opening (honda POS looking)
Does NOt go out futher then the stock kit (like NO Noses)
More then a lip kit
Maybe something like a combat with a lip-kit on it.
i would draw something but i suck at it..haha
Oh and no more then 3 openings anything over that is Bad looking IMO.

Just a thought

yeah shipping a kit from japan is ridiculously pricey, and all the us kits are not too much to my liking, i like the 404, but the front is to low, i'd scrape the hell out of it here. Also it sticks out a bit too far.

I agree with Justen...the Euro type 1 is very nice. I would get rid of the round hole on each side and then make the ridge on the front part of the lip come all the way around at the same thickness. Then, where it gets wider on the sides, the ridge would simply be in the middle of the piece. The idea is simple but would be a nice supplement to cars with stock sides.

Sweet.

First of all make sure the front is a full piece not a lip kit - will be different for 94/95 and 96-99 cars.

I would vote for an arising II knock off. I know you said you want a new one Mac, but that kit is the bomb and it would be nice if it was more accessable.

yea ture.. but if they just make a knock off of a kit that is already out.. then other companies want give damn about us.. not like they do now.. but if they make a new kit.. other companies will see that and might want to make another kit for us...

and anyone that has an idea.. pleas draw it or PS .. and post it here.

Well i put somepics up of a design to start with if someone could photo shop it a bit it would give a better picture of it.

Also what about a Varis extermior Gt-four but without the slits in the middle of the kit above the opening and maybe some kind of hole where the foglights are. Idont know

i like the second one better. Since the celica is a round curvey style car.. the first photochop is too square. doesn't flow well... I dont want a 2003 VW Beetle round either.

I want a kit that will accent the body lines... something SEXY!!!!

they already have agressive kits out there like invader, combat, blitz..

Yeah, I'm near pomona too. Keep it clean, maybe mix in a few GT-4 styles, a few Varis styles... please, just stay away from the weird ass curvy kits

(no offense to those running around with shogun kits, etc etc- but I think they look like crap)

What about a front lip spoiler similar to the '97 Pikes peak celica? I have always wanted my car to look like that. I am a very studied artist and work with CAD everyday. I would not mind helping with the design especially if it gets me closer to the PP Celica look.
Anybody got a good Picture of the Pikes Peak Celica?

i think for the front we go with the one everyone is choping with with a 404 lib style on the bottom, then on the sides maybe something with rounded vents so match the shapes of our body you know.

O nthe back... Nothing like the invader style, but i want more then the 404 lip kit. Its got to be rounded but not gody..if u knwo what i mean.

this is an awesome thread, and you guys have come up with some great ideas. i really like this one, it looks sporty without being ricey (like the vador). as far as the rear goes: i would really like it to not hang super low like some of the civic kits i have seen (if you know what i'm talking about) but at the same time it does need some shape.

hrees the two that i would want to buy, id prefer the one without the gt4 vent, simply because it would probably be cheaper and made faster, and i dont think the vent adds too much to the apeal of the kit... i made it red to see how it'd look on my car

I think we could use a nice lip kit like the Eurou or Aeromagic front lip that isnt really too low to the ground. If not that idea, i would like to see a Bomex or R33 kit made...any would look nice. I think we should take a poll however, and narrow it down to some ideas that everyone agrees upon.

i think we should rule out lip kits and make a full bumpers instead. That way it's easier for 94-95 and facelift bumpers to fit. What does a bomex kit look like on a 6gc? Photoshop?

For rear bumpers, I like the Carcept rear a lot. The rest of the kit.. fugly.. but the rear = cooooooool. Maybe something like that, minus the left-side exhaust opening.

ok guys i got another email for usafiberglass well here it goes..

"Hey,

the design is nice. it's reall sweet. now to make this serious we would like to speak quantity. how many are intrested and how much are you all to put down to make this happen. first of how many kits will be needed to get your demand. this is what we work, we make kits for wholesale either you pay for the molds or just buy a quantaty of kits which you can sell your self and we stay with the molds and we sell the kits our self too. i think to make it easier on everyone it would be great to find out who is serious onpurchasing a kit and how much are they willing to put down as a deposit. so in a way the kits are being purchase the material cost is being cover.

since you are the one that brought this up. i would like to be able to meet with you but i know we probably don't live near by. so let me know what you settle out there. i know it's a lil risky but this is what we do. we make new kits for peopl that are willing to pay for the material. oh and it is more costly to make in urethane but i think worth it. go to www.usafiberglass.com and take a look at some of the kit we have made and other personal products for companys.

such as the lj garcia scion, mitsubishi eclipse wide body, scion xb kit, toyota celica 90-93, a personal kit for a private client for his 88 celica, a full carbonfiber body for a de soto. golf carts, race car front crabon fiber clips for hansen racing. ford racing etc.

we don't mess around. shop 10946 kadota ave. pomona, ca 91766"

so lets come up with style and someone to go over there and test fix the kit.. and what it will be made out of, fiberglass and urethane

alright we need to settle on a design and decide how many people are in, if anyone has any other designs we should post em asap, because i want to get a kit on by this summer some time, so hopefully this deal works out...

Hey mac, do you know how many people we need so we dont have to pay for the mold, or how much the mold will be if we dont get enuff ppl. and will it be cheaper if we just get a mold for the front, thats all i really want, i like the vis sides and the 404 back.

good ps but i dont like it, too much goin on. im into more subtle stuff, not sharp, stand out aggressive things. However I do like the GT4 vent, or maybe a 7th gen vent? and other slotted vents

For the sides something like this rounded a the

or
user posted image
They might be the same i dotn know. for the back

And a full back bumper would be nice...Something simple like a 404 back but full kit. little bit more design to it.. i dotn know really any good back ends to bring up.

Ok guys,
this is for real, so lets make it real. Everybody who wants a kit should start saving so we can give these guys a deposit. The photoshop looks great, and I think we should get the kit made out of fiberglass instead of urethane due to its much easier to modify. For example I have invader sideskirts made for a hatchback, there about 3/4" too short. Being fiberglass its easier to make them fit. i KNOW SOME OF YOU ARE GOING TO SCREAM URETHANE IS MORE DURABLE, it is, but just try not to hit something. We need 2 persons 1 with a coupe and 1 with a hatchback to show up to this shop to represent all of us. Someone wrote orget the coupes and lets concentrate on the hatchbacks....thats not fair. If they got to make
2 rear ends...so be it.
i really like the vis rear lip made of the rx8. We can get a duplicate made for us.
Some of the photoshops have been great. I also like the stock 3000gt sides. Maybe we can make a copy for our cars. lets get our money together. My invader kit is going on ebay.
lets post Manuel's(owner of Usafiberglass) email so we can all write him and let him know we are for real

maybe theres a way u can chose if u want it urethane or fiberglass so everyone would be happy, im assuming they'd use the same mold either way, im not an expert though

that might just cost more then just having one or the other..

i vote for fiberglass.. unless it's just a lip.(which doesn't look like it will)

and do we want just a front bumper or whole kit?

any ideas on the sides?

i only want the front, i think it would cost too much for the molds for the whole kit, besides theres plenty of good sides and rears on the US market..thats my opinion anyways, id prefer urethane but if im out voted id settle for fiberglass

I think we should just go for the front bumper because everyone likes pretty much the same rear right? 404rear? and stock/404/varis side's so front bumper only 1 will be cheaper and quicker since its only 1 piece....

This is Bad A** and its got my vote user posted image

These guys are good, from the work i see on their website, so lets get the full kit from them, and not just the front spoiler. I got a rear bumper that I can send to them so they can use it to get the rear shape and modify it. Anyone have a stock front? We should send them 50.00 each to get them started. They are on paypal. Whos in? Put your name on the list.

I think if u move the turn signals up then the can site under the head lights. or we can make smaller turn signals. soemthign liek that .

The back is nice but smooth the sides and dont make it to aggresive looking.
