Does the TRD quick shifter fit the 94 GTS hatchback model? In Canada we have the GT model and the higher model is called the GTS. Anyone know about this one?

Yep, it'll fit your car just fine. You may not think so when installing it(I had a tough time with the install), but sure enough, it fits fine.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking that it only fitted the ST models. Howlong did it take you to do it? Out of 10 how difficult was it to do?

Thanks

He had to take out a bunch of stuff i believe. I don't really want a short shifter, I think the throw is short enough already..for me at least...and it's not like im taking it to teh track where that split second shift will matter so much

Coomer is it a must that I must cut that piece. Are referring to the black piece of plastic or are you referring to the white piece.

Thanks

I had to cut the black plastic piece that holds the knee panels together, because I could not figure out how it could come out otherwise, and I didn't want to take out my knee panels, because they're hard to take out. I'm not sure if other people had to, but I did. It doesn't affect how the knee panels stay on once everything is back together, because once the center console is installed again the screws hold each side in place just fine. Also, it doesn't show unless your center console is out.

Just out of curiosity, did you need to cut that plastic piece in the middle of the knee panels, or did you take the knee panels out, or were you able to get the shifter out without doing that?
