Hey gusy i just got another celica GT, its a coupe and a auto!!! i whana swap tht engine with my ST...wht do u all think...will i need other extra stuff or only a swao done!!!

Why don't you just swap the transmission? It'd probably be easier than swapping in the GTs 5SFE into a ST. Just my thoughts.







But what do I know, I own a DSM.

No... you must use the correct tranny. The bellhousings are different.

i think he is wanting to stick with his hatchback, that's why he's asking. i would do it if i were in your shoes. but i'm not a fan of the coupe.

edit: but you will need an S series tranny if you want to convert to a manual.

See i guys the thing is tht the coupe is light blue...and i don;t like tht color or the coupe. My ST is a Auto and GT is a auto too...so i can swap the engine and the transimission. i guess tht should work as i have all the wire harness and everything...i wonder how much will it cost to do that!

sell both the cars and buy a manual GT hatch , you would have plenty left over as well

Haha no kidding, and get a manual! and with the left over movey do some engine upgrading or a swap.
