My friend says him and his friend will do it for $400, is this a good price, or should I just go to a shop? I've also heard that it's pretty simple to install the springs yourself, would that be worth it considering I have no idea how to do it? |

Tire Discounters quoted me at 700$ ROFL. It's a joke, go to a small shop, or do it yourself.

oo thats cool, but what about the danger factor? compressed springs can launch with some force, in auto braking class a launched one about 12 feet and that was a little one from a drum brake. Not trying to scare you out of doing the job yourself or anything I am just curious. -brandon -------------------- ![]() |

I forget what auto parts store it was, but someone said that you can go to said store, pay 40$, rent the compressor, return it, and get 40$ back. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of the store!

I purchased new KYB GR-2 struts, pretty much OEM, and I'm slapping ground control coilovers on them. So I should have a quality setup performance wise, comfort probably won't be too nice though!
