I am intrested in this only because my poor SVX almost never gets to be driven... I want a little purr on my 6G cause my SVX has Magnaflow exhaust and I love its deep rumble and its light purr on acceleration.

What I dont want is to sound like a ricer, so I was wondering if I should even consider one of the universial mufflers on ebay. I really like the way this one looks...

but I dont see a hanger on it and am wondering if its realy loud. I figured here was where to ask. Im not looking to gain any HP and know it wont make my car faster (not quite as fun as my 240HP SVX) but I would love a light and quite purr.

Thanks for you opinions.

Todd

it's an ebay ripoff brand muffler. It might sound good, it might not. It might have backpressure problems. It might not.

Frankly, it has California Sales tax, and thats enough for me not to buy it

So like that? Which one would fit a Celica ST? I dont really like round mufflers, nor loud ones.

I REALLY appreciate all of your help.

Yeah, like that. These get loud if you punch it, but purr quietly when you dont. Just get a straight through.

New or used? Is it a round or oval canister? What does it look like? What does it sound like on a ST?

Id love to go with that... looks awesome too, I just dont have $200 right now to spend on sound (plus I have a ST). But if I could do one of these cherrybomb for under $100 then Id be happy.

What would just replacing the cat do? I really dont want a loud system, just one that sounds nice while still being quiet.

Thanks...
