It's not my intention to mess up things for anyone, but rather look out for members of 6gc.net, so don't take this personal. I suggest before buying from Roo, you read some of the older threads about transactions with him either on this site or Celica.net. Especially before buying something this large and expensive.

If he is the same Roo that works at Bulletproof automotive, I have been impressed as well. The guy knows Celicas. My order was screwed up a little but he has been great to deal with.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

???

What's too good to be true? You guys know my car, that's it in the pic above. If you're local, you're more than welcome to come by and inspect everything yourself. You can contact me at work at Bullet Proof.

If someone has a problem with me, I have no problem dealing with it in the open but it seems as though the only people talking smack aren't even customers of mine...which is pointless since they have nothing to base an opinion on. I'm not shady nor am in anyway hard to find as you can call me at work anytime m-f from 10am-6pm. Shall I post my personal cell phone number on here as well??

hehe, you can blame that mistake on the big man. He's was becoming a little too controlling and decided he wanted to submit orders to our japanese office himself (in english) instead of how i was submitting them in japanese. After an entire order (the one with your parts on it) didn't get placed properly we switched back to submitting the orders in Japanese.

BTW, if you guys really doubt me, I should relate a little bit more about my work.

www.topsecretjpn.com <--i designed the website as well as maintain it. I am the main person who runs the U.S-based operation. ( e-mail me at: roo@topsecretjpn.com if you need proof)

www.varis.co.jp <-- i negotiated the details on setting up a U.S. office (bulletproof)

user posted image

that's me on the left.......the guy in the middle is Inada Daijiro, MR. JDM. (The owner/founder of OPTION, OPTION 2, Drift Tengoku, Tokyo Auto Salon, etc.)

besides from being a lil ugly, i don't have any problems maintaining a high position in the U.S./Japan auto tuning industry...

You need an ECU and wiring harness. I can probably supply you with both. I have to check to see if the wiring harness i got with the new clip is in tact. If it is, I will include it with the engine. I have the ECU from my new WRC clip but I'm trying to figure out if I have any need for it. If I don't, I will GIVE it to you. If I end up needing it, I would be happy to source you another one and whatever else you need/want from Japan at my wholesale cost.

Shipping is no problem, I can send to anywhere in the continental U.S. for about $200 via Pilot truck freight.

in addition youll need:

1. Intercooler - $(no idea)
2. new transmission (St only)-$200
3. Custom Exhaust-$600
4. Labor-$700

So like $3000 all together i thinks.

bad idea to run a tmic unless its water to air. but id much rather run a fmic..

this sounds good, but im not afan of the 3rd gen 3sgte's since there compression is to high.

i'de run a front mount IC if I were you.

3rd gen's are superior to 2nd gens in every way I can think of. The compression is NOT too high. The engine for sale already has a brand new, thicker than stock, HKS metal headgasket which also lowers compression.

yea, but if people wanted to take advtage of turning up the bost they would have to get water injection and thats about $500 off the bat. there is also no aftermarket parts for the 3rd gen that you can get easily.

Another major thin gis ECU tuning. THere is non ecu tuning suport for the 3rd gen out there. but there is for the 2nd gen. cuz of the usdm all trac and mr2 turbo.

But dont get me wrong the motr is better . but with the extra money youd be spending to lower the compresion to run high boost on 93 you can put on the 2nd gen.

Where are you getting your information? I can point out tons of aftermarket parts readily available for the 3rd gen. ECU tuning? I can think of 3 different companies off the top of my head that tune the 3rd gen, not to mention that if you want to make enough power to change the compression, you would want a stand alone. Your comments aren't based on personal experience or a good knowlege of the industry in reguards to 3rd gen parts. You shouldn't come in to someone elses thread making extremely ignorant off-topic remarks.

Celica STX02, i'm half white, half native american....is that Regular white boy?

Jeremy, I've never been in the military. I used to live in the countryside of Japan where the only other non-japanese people were military though.
