Anyone ever had a problem with passing emissions because of high NOx levels? Im thinking its probably the EGR Valve. Anyone know?

i have removed egr, have more torque and the turbo entry more fast, stock engine, aussie downpipe and panel air filter the press max arrive 1.0 bar. but nox levels is ok, you go in the garage and test.....

wait, your saying by removing the egr, you get more power ?? how does that work..

wait, your saying by removing the egr, you get more power ?? how does that work..

the hot exhuast gases are not put back in the intake .. making a cooler engine and cooler air going into the mix...

It's almost always the Cat... make sure the car is at operating temp or at the very least, warm. If you're still getting too high of readings... consider replacing, or borrowing a catalytic converter to perform the smog...
