For Conversion Fans, My $0.02 Options

I wanna see someone do a RX8 taillights with bumper conversion! Didnt see anyone do this yet! Looks pretty dope!

i thought about the r34 tails but one thing. look at the new chevy impalas. like what cops sometimes drive. they look the same. so screw that.

that rx8 looks badass. i would rather just keep my stock tails or get the jdm ones. save money towards more engine mods.

What's up with you guys and trying to be different, up here in Chicago nobody even knows what kind of car I drive. They are like "Is this something new from Japan", they look at the back and the front but they can't see any emblems nor signs. If i do the conversion I would confuse them even more! hehehe

man only conversion i have seen are supra, and s2k tail lights. i think a rx8 conversion would be tight... are the rx8's even out in the US?

rx-8 is such an absolutely amazing car... its as close to perfection as you can possably get in a car. i say leave em where they belong, with the rx-8.

heh I see 6 gen celica's all the time here almost like civics, heck when I go to class I see atleast 2-3 just leaving as Im coming in except it seems like 90% of them are st's except for the convertables of course.

The Rx8's are pretty cool. 4 doors...but only 250 hp (no turbo)...something like 4hp Less than the 7(with TT) . But it still looks sweet, Its like 30+ grand I think..not sure if its worth the money... The infinity G35 and the 350z have the same engine if I read correctly since nissan owns infinity

I enjoy the look of the 350 alot more than the rx8, maybe you guys will start hating me for saying this but the 350 has 37 more horse and it is a two seater, I don't really like the look of the four doors, sure they are well concealed, but If I was gonna pay around 30 grand for a sports car, I would rather it be a 2 seater. just my two cents

you are correct, the rx7 had 260 with a sequential twin turbo, which leads me to ask the question, why can't they make me a rx8 with twin turbo. I'd love to have that car with a twin turbo, maybe I should go to the mazda dealer in may and claim "I'm not leaving until I get sequential twin turbo"
and yeah, nissan owns infinity, the g35 is on the same chassis, the only differences are minor styling, back seats in the G, and the G has 7 less horsepower(280)

Well, the RX8 isn't even the direct successor of the RX7... but, if it sells adequately, supposedly Mazda will apparently go forward with the next iteration of the RX7.

Eh, the RX-8 isnt anything too mind blowing, if you ask me. I absolutely love the 350Z though.....god, its soooo friggin sexy.... . Not to mention that Nissan finally got things right- Lots of good looks teamed up with lots of power to back it up.

Sure the RX-8 is a 4 door, but the rear doors are suicide doors. So this just makes me want it even more.

Ok, some of you might know that Greddy just released a twin turbo set-up for the 350Z at the SEMA show just after a couple of months of being released. Maybe they will go down the same route for the RX-8.
