So how do you all install speakers when the speaker screw holes don't line up with the mount? Also, there's a metal lip on the outside of the speakers that sticks out too far for the door panel to go on.

It's called improvising.....we do it all the time. Takes some pics and i maybe be able to give you ideas.

A plan, Dremel and a steady hand. Thats what i would do.
