I haven't personally used them, but I know a couple guys that are using them and have no problems. The machine shop around me says that they're not the best rods and install is a little bit of a problem, not a big problem, but a little one.

My friend's are running Type R's. One has 193 to the wheels, but he's got an oversized bore, increased stroke, fully balanced, stage 2 clutch, spoon fly wheel, port and polished head, increased compression. The other Type R's haven't been dynoed.

I would prefer Pauter Ibeam rods with JE pistons. That combo is def good for 300WHP and probably alot more.

i was taliking to reaceeng.com and they said eagle rods aren't worth the money and are not much stonger than stock in somecases, the best rods are crower pr-billet not econo, but they are expensive
