what is the best offset to get, that wont make 17's or 18's rub? sorry for the newb questions but im new to the Celica thing

then you shouldnt really have a problem with what ever offset you get. i think 42 is stock.

you're gonna want something in the low to mid 30's with a 17x7 rim. mine are 43 and they look sucked in quite a bit, especially the backs.
