Man when I got mine, it was the first time that I had ever done anything like that before. It really wasn't that hard to do. Plus you will feal great after you get them hooked up. But if you wana pay 30-40 bucks go right ahead.

The only reason we have other people do anyting on our cars is so we can have somebody to blame.

Yes very true! The only reason I dont want to install them myself is that I am not good at that kindof stuff, I mean it took me 8 hours to install a head unit and replace the speakers in my 1990 corolla, and when I was done with that I forgot how to put it all back together! -------------------- ![]() |

To me it looks pretty hard. I took the cluster out on Saturday to see if I could put more double stick tape on to stop the sticky needles. I did not see how I could have pulled the gauges out. I chickend out when I saw my temp needled jump. I was like forget it, I'm going to break it. I did not try to take out the needles because I have this fear of breaking them.
![]() ![]() Anyone have any suggestions on how to get over my fear of breaking the needles? ![]() |

$50 ain't too bad as long as they did a some-what professional job and didn't let wires hang everwhere and put the control for the gauges somewhere you wanted.

did you have to remove any part of the needles to make them fit?

nope
just push it real hard...don't be worried about breaking it...it will work or you can clip it a little and it will slip over fine.. |

man don't pay for that... i got 2 of them for my tiburon about 2 years ago ... it's easy, just be careful with your needles.
another tip... if you want to wire them to your parking lights fuse, then buy one of those in-fuse things that connect to one of your fuse sockets and it gives you a spare fuse to use. understand what i mean? |
