Guys since long time now i interchange with Japanese Celica Clubs.I already told them about our Forums here in 6gc.net and the job that Coomer has done so far.
They are very impressed and they want to interchange with the members of www.6gc.net.
The Japanese Owners have FANTASTIC cars and they are also very friendly people. They want to move outside the Japanese borders and to meet other Celica Owners and see other Celica cars.
If its fine with you i can arrange this. The problem is that they dont speak English but we already arrange this by making a common link that both of us (6gc.net and Japanese Celicas) can post with a somekind of translation,i will explain to you more about this later.

What do you think?

The already know a lot of things about my country(Cyprus) and our Celica Club Cyprus and of course they know a lot about the www.6gc.net (thanks Coomer).

Coomer what do you think about this?

USA Celicas are the low-man on the totem pole. How can we possibly impress Japanese Celica owners? I mean, do we even impress you? You guys get GT-FOURS and we get ST's.

Akimbo You impress everyone cuz you exist,i mean you have a Celica so you are part of somehow you can call it "family".
Drocay yes this is another point, many celica owners together drives to a bigger and better community, and at the end this is the target,i mean imagine the 6gc.net how was it before you guys knew about our Club(Celica Club Cyprus) or the gt4oc or the celica swizz or other Celica fan clubs??Now we know more about our cars,we are getting better at the choosing of mods, better about the maintenance and of course we are communicate each other, coming close.
smile.gif

Who knows how many Celica Clubs are out there??? smile.gif

Yea....and we can continue to build our already great community of 6gc's. I say the more nice cars here the better. Also, I bet they would have a wealth of information to share.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

yeah, and we could help them with the kits we get here, and they dont get over there. i think it could be beneficial to both parties. im sure we have a larger aftermarket as far as choices and prices...the biggest thing about this is going to how are we translating? do you have a program in mind?

Nice!!!!! smile.gif
Actually we dont have a program in mind for complete translation but a member of the CELICA OWNERS CLUB Ultimate his name is Burialc he is making the translation and also few of the member sometimes post in English.
It is worth it to have a look and post some photos and talk with them.
The temporary board that both sides (Japanese and English) can post its:

http://www9.plala.or.jp/burial/celica/BBS/

So please give it a try,i am sure you are going to see many fantastic cars, get some great ideas as the same they are going to do.
Members in Celica Owners Club Ultimate in Japan are very friendly.

so....lets START:)

my buddy has a translation site, www.interglot.com

In some time you will be able to get full documents translated, also from japanese to english. Basically we hired somebody who will do it, for paying customers.

But either way, it will be worth it to learn from the Japanese, they know a lot about our cars, they get all the good stuff first and it will be good to be able to order stuff directly from them (perhaps) rather then going through several profit taking companies that make parts twice, if not three times as expensive
