Vis racing just released their new carbon hood out on friday. Its called the zyclone. They also sell the regular carbon hood and the invader carbon hood.

by normal persons logic, yes.... it would be cool to say "im the reason all these people have this hood" but i dont know how many times i've heard him brag about going to be one of the only people in the US to have the hood.... now its readily availible.... -------------------- |

yup, i gotta agree i don't like it compared to a real C-one hood

yeah unless the price was good i dont see myself thinking of buying it....

hmm... i just don't think it'll look right on a 6gc.... i mean.. the vents don't look as smooth as the C-one CF hood, and the GT4 stock hood looks better than that... but like Gilbert_619 said, if it's going for like $200 ( which i think is not possible ), then i'll consider purchasing it.

Its not a replica GT4 hood and varis does not make c-one. even if replica C-One it is not 100% the same, the lines that go toward the drive from the scoop are too big as the main bump should be from the entire dent of the hood(GT4 style)
then in front of the scoop, near the front of the car, there should only be a dip before the scoop, not a gradual rise all the way there, depending on how this looks i MAY have to sell mine. --------------------  |

People probably didn't want in on the group buy because group buys often fall through, and occasionally people get ripped off. And some people don't get in on group buys(like me), because they know bad stuff will come up and they'll no longer have the money. Plus, the price will go down with time.  Oh, and some people don't get in on group buys because they don't know exactly what they're getting. For example, one person I talked to was expecting more out of the hood, and hoped it'd look a lot more like the real C-One hood. That hood needs more holes vents and scoops, I mean come on, with hood, bullet fenders and a skill saw thats only like 20 pointless gouty(SP) holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

curious that you are celebrating a successful groupbuy when it hasn't even been completed yet. not only that but multiple people have voiced concerns that (from the picture on their site) it doesn't look exactly like the c-one hood they supposibly replicated. but I guess you can tell ViS that, afterall thats why you get 10% off right? |

i do think that the VIS across the picture would make them less attractive, as well as not being in the sun...but i really do not understand why they did no replicate it the same.
